Privacy
This privacy statement explains which personal data Recettino processes, why, who we share it with and what rights you have. We process no more data than necessary.
Controller
Recettino is a service of Binq Media B.V. We are responsible for processing your personal data. Questions about privacy or your data? Email info@recettino.com.
What data we process
Account: your email address, optionally your name, and an encrypted (hashed) password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name.
Content: the recipes you add, uploaded photos, your shopping list and favourites.
Usage: technical data such as your device, browser, approximate location and which pages you visit, collected via analytics and advertising cookies (see below).
Purposes and legal basis
To provide the service (your account, recipes, cooking mode and shopping list): performance of the contract.
To secure the app and prevent abuse: our legitimate interest.
For statistics and advertising: based on your consent, which you can withdraw.
Third-party services
To provide the service we engage carefully selected external parties that process data on our behalf, each under a data processing agreement:
• Hosting of the app and storage of the database and your photos.
• Automatic processing of the text and photos of recipes you import, to structure them.
• Signing in with Google.
• Collecting usage statistics.
• An advertising partner that serves the ads in the app.
Some of these parties process data outside the EU (including the US). Appropriate safeguards apply, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data. We provide an up-to-date list of the processors we use on request via info@recettino.com.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Cookies and similar techniques are used for usage statistics and to show ads. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings.
How long we keep data
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we permanently delete all your data — your recipes, photos, shopping list and favourites. Technical logs are kept for a shorter period.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, email info@recettino.com. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or your local supervisory authority.
